Requirements
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Level 2 Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technicians proficient in Radiographic Testing (RT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), or Visual Testing (VT). As a Level 2 NDT Technician, you will be responsible for performing inspections, interpreting results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct NDT inspections using one or more of the following methods: RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT.
- Prepare and set up testing equipment according to procedures and specifications.
- Perform tests and examinations on materials, components, and structures.
- Interpret and evaluate test results to determine the presence of defects or abnormalities.
- Document inspection results accurately and thoroughly, including writing reports and maintaining records.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other team members to address any issues or concerns related to inspections.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Adhere to safety procedures and protocols at all times.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 NDT certification in one or more of the following methods: RT, UT, MT, PT, or VT.
- Proven experience conducting NDT inspections in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of NDT principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Ability to interpret and evaluate test results accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites as needed.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NAS 410 Level 2 Certifications
- Experience with advanced NDT techniques and equipment.
- Familiarity with industry-specific codes and standards.
