Requirements
Candidate must demonstrate the requisite skill and knowledge to proficiently execute all general functions outlined for the Assembly Mechanic position:
Job Duties:
Assemble and install structures and subassemblies.
Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to meet quality standards.
Record necessary data for assembly progress.
Set up and operate manual and automated assembly equipment.
Perform pickups, rework, fabrication, and functional testing as needed.
Handle parts, materials, and tools, ensuring correctness.
Utilize precision measuring instruments.
Identify and report job-related issues.
Safely transport products within the manufacturing area.
Adhere to safety attire requirements: wear sturdy, full-cover, low-heeled shoes; avoid dresses, skirts, and jewelry.
Requirements:
Immediate availability required.
Flexibility to work any shift.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (A&P license not mandatory).
Seeking composite Mechanic Contractors for rework projects.
Must pass the Plate Test.
Blueprint reading proficiency essential.
Experience with composite aircraft necessary.
Position specific to the 787 line.
